Speaker Biography
Koryn Anderson enjoyed a couple of careers, including translation project management and technical writing, before finding her ultimate one as a business analyst. She has thrived in her business analysis practice for almost 20 years and is currently a Lead Business Analyst within IT. Her experience resides primarily in the travel and financial services industries, with projects ranging from integrating travel technology for vacation providers to onboarding order management and portfolio analytic systems for traders. Koryn is passionate about the business analysis discipline, achieving her Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP®) designation and Product Ownership Analysis Certification (CPOA), while contributing to the global growth of the profession through her involvement with IIBA. She has served in multiple leadership roles with her local Chapter as well as the Chair of the Global Chapter Council, providing direction and advocacy to over 120 Chapters and 700+ volunteers worldwide. She is a two-time recipient of the IIBA Volunteer of the Year Award as well as the IIBA Lifetime Achievement Award.
