"Business Analysts: Reimagined" by Lee Anderson

Wednesday, October 6, 2021 -
6:00pm to 7:00pm

Join our Career-Focused event to hear about perspective of an HR professional: Why your role is so important, How you add measurable value and What key responsibilities you’re assuming as organizations find their new normal by Lee Anderson.

Lee fell into “personnel” by accident (she had no formal career plan) after graduating from university (French and Sociology), found her niche and, over the years, became an influencer as this community of practice morphed into “Strategic HR”.

Her corporate career was focused mainly in financial services (banking, insurance, professional services). After her role was declared redundant in a merger for the second time, she became a consultant (with a formal business plan) and developed a practice working with entrepreneurs and not for profits. Her three lines of business are: Strategic HR Leadership, Organizational Design and Effectiveness and Career Assessment and Coaching. She was also actively involved in the HR Professionals Association, both locally and provincially and taught Advanced HR for Queen’s Industrial Relations Centre. She has a long- standing commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion from her work with Ombudsman Ontario.

She is actively involved in the community, currently sitting on The Aeolian Hall’s Advisory Council. Prior, she sat on the Board of the Listowel Wingham Hospitals Alliance and Perth Huron United Way. She is also a certified horticulturalist with an interest in food security and native plants.

We are pleased to announce her support towards our "Career Development" virtual event on Wednesday, October 6th, 2021, 6:00 pm.

It's an opportunity to hear and ask questions of thought leaders in the community.
